Traveling across Wisconsin

The River Bats have made it to Athletic Park just in time for the series-opening matchup against the Wisconsin Woodchucks.

We departed from La Crosse at 11:00 a.m., and watched "Heavyweights" for part of the trip.

Upon arriving in Wausau at 2:00 p.m., we ate a pregame meal at Buffalo Wings & Rings. We left the restaurant shortly after 3:00 p.m., and went immediately to the ballpark for the River Bats to take batting practice.

First pitch between Wisconsin and St. Cloud is scheduled for 5:05 p.m. Bats righthander Nick Sutherland (3-1) faces Kyle Gumieny (2-4).
