The St. Cloud River Bats fell to the La Crosse Loggers, 4-3, on Friday night. A season-high crowd of 3,752 was on hand.
After the post-game fireworks, the team boarded the bus, and waited patiently to exit the parking lot at Copeland Park.
The sky had looked ominous all night, and a brief rain began as we left the ballpark shortly after 10:00 p.m. We ate a post-game meal at Pizza Hut, and arrived back at the hotel before 11:00 p.m.
With the loss, the Bats fell into a tie for third place in the North Division 2nd half, 1.5 games behind Rochester.
